2) Vivek Oberoi was looking for Rani all night and her family didn't know she was missing until he told them. So how come, when the police took him to the hospital, Rani's mother & sister were already there?

Lagaan was shot in the late 19th century. At the time, an over in cricket used to consist of 8 balls. But in this movie, an over has 6 balls. Maybe modern cricket learnt from the movie.
