Akshay - John - Priyadarshan teamed

After HUNGAMA and HULCHUL, the Jain brothers of Venus have once again signed Priyadarshan to direct their forthcoming film. It will star Akshay Kumar and John Abraham [first time together] along with Priyan regulars Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav.

“It's a romantic comedy,” Ratan Jain sheds light on the film, “It's one of the best scripts that we've heard.” While the male cast has been confirmed, four leading ladies are yet to be finalized. The film will roll in January next year.

It's Venus' third project with Priyan in three years. What's so special about the director that prompted the Jains to repeat him for the third time? “We share a fantastic rapport. Besides, he's a producer's director, who believes in living up to his commitments. He adheres to the budget and shooting schedules absolutely,” Jain states.

While HULCHUL is slated for release on November 12, Venus' other project, ELAAN, directed by Vikram Bhatt, will hit the screens in December this year. “We are almost through with the dubbing of the film and will finalize the release date once Vikram Bhatt returns to India,” Jain adds.
