Sitting In Aitkaf is reasonable for Girls ???????? i think they get feared while sitting in aitkaf.........

etekaf's another gift of ramadhan
Best etekaf's when performed regularly. People who enter Masjid with the intention of etekaf regularly will hold a higher place in Jannah than those who only do ekekaf in ramadhan. Thou ekekaf in Ramadhan wipes out sins of past and helps one achieve taqwa, one may do etekaf for even one night and every night in ramadhan.
Whoever does it please remember me in your dua. I intend to do ekekaf but only for a day or two.

when u guyz talk abt GALS,, think once abt ur sister and mother

my bibi jii did aitekaf in 2002,, and she passed away in last ramadan,, she was really lucky

hey SD,, can we do aitekaf for 2/3 days ??
i thought it was during last 'ashra' (10 days)

woh to upar wala hai qabool na qabool karne wala..

ho sakta hai ke kissi ka eik din ka aitkaaf qabool ho jaye halanke koi 10 din baithe aur woh na qabool ho....

arey, main koi aalim hoon jo fatwa jaari kar diya...

kissi sayaane se pooch lena... kissi masjid wagaira main... yeh na ho ke aap sawaab khao 3 din ke aitkaaf ka aur mujhe gunah mille aur aage chal kar hisaab ho ke falaan falaan waqt tum ne king ko kaha tha ke theek hai 3 din ka aitkaaf

aitaqaf ki niyaat agar masjid main janay say pehlay bhee ker lee jaiy .. tu jaab taak app masjid main rahein gay app ka aitaqaf hoo ga.. laiken phir atiqaf main dunya ki batein nahi kerni chahyee.. deen ki batein kerna jaiz hai ..

aur galz kay liay saab say chota aitaqaf hai kay wo friday kay din asar ki namaz say pehlay atiqaf ki niyaat ker lein aur aftari kay ker aa jain .. ye chota sa aitaqaf hai ...

Sure can!!
etekf can be of any duration. Etekaf in lst 10 days in ramadhan is very special. Prophet used to do that and his companions after him. Ocourse, longer you stay in etekaf, greater wld be the ajr. Women sure can perform etekaf for a duration of their choice. Conditions for etekaf limply to purify oneself, leave matters of dunya out and remember Allah a lot. Important thing is intention to truly seek forgiveness and repent for sins and to stay away from them. Humbling oneself is another condition bcus shaitan tries to incite boastfulness in us when we return from etekaf.
