The cause of the imbalance of the cutting piece is that the center of gravity of the cutting piece does not coincide with the axis of rotation. The reason for this is the manufacturing and mounting defects of the 125*1*22 EN12413 cutting disc, for example, the density of the cutting piece is not uniform, the end faces are not parallel, the geometric shape or the concentricity error of the inner and outer holes, and the eccentricity of the cutting piece are mounted. The unbalanced cutting piece generates a centrifugal force that forces the cutting piece to deviate from the axis when rotated at a high speed, thereby causing the cutting piece to vibrate. The consequences not only affect the quality of the grinding but also accelerate the wear of the spindle bearing of the cutting blade; when the centrifugal force exceeds the allowable range of the strength of the cutting blade, the cutting of the cutting piece will be caused.
New cutting pieces and first trimmed cutting pieces, as well as cutting pieces that are found to be unbalanced, should be balanced. There are two methods for adjusting the balance of the cutting piece: dynamic balance and static balance.
(1) Dynamic balance method. The method is based on the transmission installed on the machine tool
The sensor directly displays the unbalance amount of the cutting blade device during rotation, and the imbalance amount is controlled to a minimum by adjusting the position and distance of the balance block.
(2) Static balance method. The static balance adjustment is carried out on the balance frame. The center of gravity of the cutting piece is manually determined, the balance block is added, and the position of the balance block is adjusted until the cutting piece is balanced, and the cutting piece can be balanced in eight orientations.
Adjusting the balanced cutting piece requires an idle test after the protective cover is installed. Idling test time: diameter = 400mm, idling time is greater than 5min; diameter <400mm, idling time is greater than 2min.
During the idling test, the operator should stand in the side safe position of the cutting piece and should not stand in front of the cutting piece or in the tangential direction to prevent accidents.
