Yangzhou Taizhou Airport, also abbreviated as Yangtai Aiport, is a relatively new airport that serves the cities of Yangzhou and Taizhou in
Jiangsu Province in China. The airport is located in the town of
Dinggou, Jiangdu District, 30km from the center of Yangzhou and 20km
from Taizhou. It is jointly owned and constructed by Yangzhou (80%
share) and Taizhou (20% share) on a 2.082 billion yuan investment.
Yangtai Aiport is designed as a class 4C domestic regional airport, with
the capacity to handle a yearly throughput of two million passengers
and 24,000 tons of cargo by 2020. It has a 31,000 square-meter terminal
building, 13 aircraft parking aprons, and a 2,400 meter-long and 45
meter-wide runway. The airlines that serve Yangtai Aiport include Air
China, China Southern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Kunming Airlines,
Shenzhen Airlines, and Sichuan Airlines. These carriers fly out to
several domestic destinations such as Beijing, Shenzhen, Shenyang,
Xi'an, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Kunming, Sanya, Harbin, and Chengdu.Nagoya to Shanghai flights

Yangzhou is known as a major trading center for rice, salt, and silk. Some of the places that you can visit in the city are the
beautifully decorated Slender West Lake Park, adorned with willow and
peach trees lining the banks. Inarguably, its best spot is the grand
triple-arched Five Pavilion Bridge. You can also get on a river cruise
along the Grand Canal or through the 24 Bridge. Gè Garden, which was
once the home of the painter Shi Tao, is now a lovely southern-styled
garden situated at a quaint, atmospheric location east of the city
center. There’s also the Hanlinyuan Museum, which houses the tomb for
Liu Xu, ruler of the Guangling Kingdom; the historical Yangzhou Museum,
which is also the home to a museum of traditional Chinese book printing;
and He Yuan, which has a number of tea houses, open grottoes, and
boasts a fantastic view. Unfortunately, Taizhou doesn’t offer much to
tourists, except scholars claim that this is an excellent place to learn
and practice learning Chinese.
