Limitation to friendship
The transition from being couples to 'just friends' is not easy. There are too many emotions and history, to keep the
relationship strictly platonic. Immediately after break-up, give each other some
time to cool off and take stock of your life. A careful self-introspection will
help you realize what exactly you want from your life and wonder over if it is
wise to keep in touch with your ex after all that has transpired. If you decide
to stay friends, draw a strict line to better define the boundaries of your
so-called-friendship. However, if you find your ex becoming obsessed with
talking to you, spending time with you and still calls with the same
endearments, then something is off. Take charge before the situation gets ugly.
Open flirting
Many men try to re-assert their dominance after breakup with mean flirting. He will stand too close for comfort in social
gathering, clear potentials guys from around you with spiteful remarks and
playfully put you down by poking fun at you. The most underhanded trick in the
book is to talk about their current 'spark', just so they could deflect the
jealously onto you. If you find any of this happening with you, it is time you
speak up. Talk to your ex calmly and explain to them how their obsessive
behaviour is driving you to take extreme steps. Tell him that he needs to change
his ways, if at all he wants to maintain friendship with
you.
Stalking
You know things have gone out of hand when he starts stalking you, day in and out. Do you find yourself running into him often at the
most unexpected of places, lately? Is he now friends with your friends, often
turning up for group events? All these are subtle ways to keep track of your
activities. Technology makes it far too easy for jilted lovers to keep tag of
their ex prey through social networking websites. Inform your friends about your
situation and request them not to reveal any personal details about you. Change
passwords to your email accounts – your ex could easily snoop around through
your voice messages and emails.
Angry outburst
Never commit the mistake of taking things too lightly, deal with your ex before it is too late.
Even the sight of you talking to the member of the opposite sex can put your ex
in a sour mood. You will find yourself being accused of dating every another
person you come across and expected to defend yourself. Your ex is dreading your
next relationship, which could lead resentment or insecurity to build. Set
things straight with your ex and seek assistance of close friends who can act as
mediator to conclude things amicably.
When a relationship ends, both parties suffer, but inevitably, one party takes it the hardest. If you find the
person you once cared, struggling to come in terms with past, suggest them to
try relationship counselling.
ZHENGZHOU, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- As the Spring Festival holiday ended, Chu Shanfeng, recruitment director of Jiangsu Lianfa Textile Co., went to central
China's Henan Province to employ some migrant workers.
However, the recruitment drive was not all he expected. He found only five workers after attending several job fairs.
Chu was offering a bus to pick the workers up and take them directly to the factory in Jiangsu plus a bonus of 400 yuan (58 U.S. dollars) if they work for
more than six months.
The job fair attracted more than 210 employers, offering more than 10,000 job opportunities. To hire more migrant workers, Chu's company promised a high
salary, social security, medical insurance and housing subsidies, but job
seekers were still holding out for a better deal.
"We had planned to hire 100 workers," Chu said.
In recent years, as labor-intensive industries have transferred their operations from coastal to inland cities for lower labor costs and now more
migrant workers are seeking jobs closer to home, said Liu Peifeng with Henan
Department of Human Resources and Social Security.
In 2016, Henan had more than 28 million migrant workers, 17 million within the province and 11 million elsewhere, according to the department.
Since 2011, migrant laborers in Henan have outnumbered those outside the province. In 2016, 90 percent of new migrant labors chose to stay in the
province and more than 760,000 returned to start businesses there.
Even so, for Henan firms, the recruitment picture is not much better.
"We planned to hire 250 people at this fair, but we have only found 20," said Wan Jilong who runs a vegetable processing works in Huaiyang. "Some of them may
not sign with us as they want a higher salary. Younger workers are paying more
attention to career prospects and asking for better wages and conditions. Many
firms can not meet their demands and recruitment is pretty hard"
By contrast, job seekers flocked to the recruitment stall of Henan LESSO Industry, a company based in Huaiyang County manufacturing plastic pipes.
"We offer a high monthly salary compared with other firms in Huaiyang, as much as 3,500 yuan," said a company representative. "Apart from that, we provide
staff dormitories and entertainment facilities such as basketball and badminton
courts and a library."
