Farah Khan is upset with a section of the electronic media. Reason? Even before the successful choreographer-director could announce her next project after MAIN HOON NA, a few over-enthu souls have already finalized the star cast for her. Worse, the star cast - mentioned by the media - is nothing but fake!
So, what's the truth? Here's the official statement from Farah herself…
The project, titled HAPPY NEW YEAR, will be produced by SRK and will obviously star the King Khan himself in the lead. However, the media has gone ahead and done a 'news-break' that Priyanka Chopra has been signed to enact the leading lady.
“Not true at all,” Farah sets the record straight, “I haven't completed writing my script, therefore I wouldn't know how the character shapes up in the final tally. At this juncture, I really wouldn't know which heroine would suit the character best. Also, Priyanka is not on my mind for the role in question.” It's SRK [and only SRK] who's on the 'confirmed list' as of now. “No one else has been signed yet,” she says firmly, adding in the same breath, “It'll be an ensemble star cast. Watch out!”
Farah also rubbishes rumours that HAPPY NEW YEAR will be a comedy film. “It's a commercial film. It's not an out-and-out comedy… Strange, the media seems to know more about my film than I do,” she mocks. HAPPY NEW YEAR is expected to take off in June this year.

Yo, i dont want SRK and Priyanka( i hate her). It should be more like...SRK and...i dont really know. theres no other actress thts left which would suit him. i know shes not gonna take Rani,Preity,Kajol or Sush. Lets see though.
