Here's some exclusive info on the sequel to DHOOM. Although Yashraj Films haven't found a suitable title yet, in all probability, the film will be titled DHOOM 2, with '2' being given more prominence in the film's publicity campaign.
“Calling the film PHIR DHOOM or NAYA DHOOM would look odd. I guess, we'd go for the same title, with a '2' attached to it,” director Sanjay Gadhvi informs me.
So far, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra have been retained from the original film, while Rimi Sen will make a friendly appearance. Esha Deol won't be a part of the sequel, but guess who has stepped in? Bipasha Basu has been signed for a significant role.
Like we all know by now, Hrithik and Aishwarya Rai are a part of the sequel as well. DHOOM 2 is expected to roll some time in April/May this year.
