Sawadah bint Zam'a
-------------------------
Sawadah bint Zam'a, may Allah be pleased with her had been the first woman to immigrate to Abyssinia in the way of Allah. Her husband ha died and she was now living with her aged father. She was middle-aged, rather plump, with a jolly, kindly disposition, and just the right person to take care of the Prophet's household and family. So Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave permission to Khawla to speak to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and to Sawdah on the subject. Khawla went straight to Sawdah and said, "Would you like Allah to give you great blessing, Sawdah?" Sawdah asked, "And what is that, Khawla?" She said, "The Messenger of Allah has sent me to you with a proposal of marriage!"

Aisha bint Abi Bakr

Gradually the Muslims who remained in Mecca left the city and traveled to Medina to join their beloved Prophet, and amongst them was a little girl called 'A'isha, the daughter of Abu Bakr. Soon after arriving in Medina, 'A'isha, who was now nine years old, as married to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who was now fifty-four years old. It was at this point that she left her family's household and joined that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). 'A'isha later reported that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had told her that Jibril came to him and showed him a picture of her on a piece of green silk and said, "She is your wife in this world and in the next world."   ... continuee

Assalam o Alaikum

Assalam o Alaikum

(No duplicate "Salam" by mistake, the first one to you all from me, second one is the "Islamic Term" continuing "A")

This is an expression Muslims say whenever they meet one another. It is a statement of greeting with peace. The meaning of it is: "Peace be upon you."

Muslims try to establish peace on earth even through the friendly relation of greeting and meeting one another.

The other forms are: "Assalam o Alalikum Wa Rahmatullah," which means: "May the peace and the Mercy of Allah be upon you," and "Assalam o Alalikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh," which means: "May the peace, the mercy, and the blessings of Allah be upon you".

It is also a reminder for all the users (specially who post in a topic) that their conversation should start with the statement of greeting with peace.

Yahaan post karnay ka maksad sirf apna knowledge nahi barhana bulkay doosron ko bhi knowledge dena hai, is liye, as RIZ did, har term ko kuch na kuch explain bhi kar dena chahiye. Topic main "Hamza" ka zikar aya, laikin explanation sirf itni kay "uncle of our Holy Prophet". Yeh baat tu aap jantay hoon gay Islam main rishtay ki us wakt tak koi importance nahi jab tak ISLAM nahi, tu Hazrat Hamza ki asal manzilat un strong IMAN pehlay aur Nabi say relation baad main hai. He was considered a brave, robust personality of Makkah. Unki shahadat par Holy Prophet nay unhain "Syed ul Shuhada" kaha tha, aur yeh laqab speially unhi ke liye hai, magar aajkal Hazrat Hussain kay liye use hota hai, jo kay nahi hona chahiye.

Dawud (David) was not only an illustrious Prophet of the Israelites but he was also their king. The Holy Qur'an affirms: "And Allah gave him the kingdom! and wisdom and taught him of that which He willed." (2: 251).

and "(And it was said unto him) 0' Dawud! To! We have set you as a vicegerent in the earth, therefore, judge aright between mankind and follow not desire." (38:26)

Prophet Lut (alaihim assalaam)

The Prophet Lut (peace be upon him) was contemporary of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him). He was a nephew and follower of the Faith of his uncle. He was the resident of Ur, an ancient town in Mesopotamia God conferred prophethood upon him.

He was commanded to leave his native land and go to Sodom and Gomorra to warn and reform the people who were indulged in grave sins such as homosexual intercourse and robbery. The Holy Qur'an says:

"And Lut (remember) when he said to his folk: Will you commit abomination such as no creature ever did before. Lo! you come with lust unto men instead of women. Nay, but you are wanton folk." (7:80, 81)

In another Verse the Holy Qur'an throws a light on the character of those sinning people. It says:

"What? Do you not come to males and commit robbery on the highways and do evil deeds in your meeting?" (29: 29)

Islam

Islam is an Arabic word which means Submission or to Submit to The Supreme Being, The Creator, whose proper name is ALLAH (Subhanahu wa ta'ala). The Oneness of ALLAH (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) is the basic principle of Islam, and is called Tawheed. Muslims are those who submit, totally, to The Creator, ALLAH (Subhanahu wa ta'ala).

Prophet Adam (alaihim assalaam)

Adam is an Arabic word for man. He was the progenitor of human race. He is reckoned to be the first prophet by the Muslims. He was also the first man whom Almighty Allah had created from the elements of clay.

According to the latest scientific researches the man has been created from clay with all its element and their inherent properties. It is discovered by a chemical analysis of the human body that a defect occurs in its normal functioning when the quantity of any of these element gets diminished. In such case vitamins are used to supplement the deficiency and restore normal health.
