Drain harvesting
The drainage system is used to harvest all shrimp from the pond at the end of the growth cycle. The efficiency and method of drainage harvesting depends on the size of your pond. You should draw the water level of the pond the night before you plan the drain age and start on a cool morning.
If your pond has a draingate structure, you can effectively harvest shrimp by setting up a sink or collection pool in front of the door. When you drain, your shrimp accumulates in the puddle.
