Don’s story
Don (Amitabh Bachchan) is a kingpin of an international smuggling ring who is wanted by Interpol. Lots of other people are looking for him too, including DSP D’Silva (Pran), and Roma (Zeenat Aman), whose brother he murdered.
Don gets killed and a seedha-sada, Bhojpuri bumpkin Vijay who looks just like Don is placed by the police amongst the smugglers to trap them.
How Roma and Vijay fall in love with each other and help D’Silva forms the crux of the plot. Some wonderful songs like Eeh hai Bombay nagaria, Main Hoon Don and Khaike paan Banaraswala and lots of memorable moments form this fabulous entertainer.
