The audio launching ceremony of director Mubasher Lucman's film Pehla Pehla Pyar was held at Alhamra, Lahore, on Wednesday. Secretary Information and Culture, Taimur Azmat Osman was the chief guest on the occasion. He was joined up on stage by Chairman Film Producers Association, Mian Amjad Farzand, Chairman Censor Board, Ziauddin and Abid ullah Sheikh of 'Filmazia'.
The audio of the movie is released by Filmazia Channel while Depilex Vision is the production house.
Addressing the audience, Mubashar Lucman revealed that the music of the film was done in India with Indian artists and digitally mastered for excellent sound results.
He thanked the members of 'Filmazia' for their support and cooperation and said that the music was unofficially released four days ago and was a sell-out the very first day of its release.
He also announced that for the first time in the history of Lollywood a purchase system had been developed on the web for international listeners.
Chief Executive 'Filmazia', Abid ullah Sheikh talked about the reasons for poor productions, while Chairman Film Producers Association, Mian Amjad Farzand thanked Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz for taking efficient measures against the piracy issue. Chairman Film Censor Board, Ziauddin, who said that he had seen clippings of the movie, praised the director's efforts and hoped that it would prove to be a breakthrough for the film industry. Mr Taimur Azmat Osman also discussed the reasons for the downfall of the industry and declared, "There are people who talk about the film industry dying its death, but we will not let this happen." He stressed the need for better packaging and offered to use the Alhamra space free of cost for any film activity.
In the end, Mubasher Lucman announced that the whole income from the film would be donated to the cause of the rehabilitation centres for acid and kerosene burn victims.
