The reason India invests more in their films is because they got over 1 Billion population which watches their movies. Lets say even if 500 million Indians watch their movies, imagine the profit it brings back to Producers. Then look at their Big Channels like Zee, Star, Sony and 100's more. These companies invest in the industry too. Plus their government helps them alot. Their movies do flourishing Business worldwide like Dubai, Far East, UK, USA, Canada etc. Bollywood produces over 500-600 films per year. Now what does Lollywood have? Pakistan has 150 million population. Their 2 main circuit of film business r Karachi and Lahore. Now how many people would u think will go to cinema and watch Lollywood movie. Its not that we dont have talent in our country. But its lack of investment and lack of latest technical equipment and cameras. Plus our technicians r not qualified to use latest material to make a top notch film. We need educated people and professionals in our film industry. Now we r also producing some good big budget films. Not all Bollywood films are made in 20-30 crore rupees. Alot r made in range of 5-10 crore rupees. So if there is a joint production between Lollywood and Bollywood, Lollywood can definetely afford 50%-50% investment. The only way to bring back our audience to cinemas is to improve our movies in all respects and improve the conditions of our cinemas and invest money in promoting the films in TV, Magazines, Newspapers and abroad. Also releasing our films in UK USA and Middle East. Plus one main thing is that we should respect our filmi actors/actresses. The amount of respect Bollywood artist gets in India is amazing. Last but not least, I dont think there is anything wrong in working together with our Bollywood counterparts. We can learn alot from their experiences and its better for our film industry. Wishing all the best to Lollywood
