Esha’s craze for Salman!

You are crazy about Salman, right or wrong? “Right, I love the man. He reminds me so much of my father. The way he talks, the way he walks, his behavior, his mannerisms, all is so papa-like. I love his built too. I like men with a good built and are strong-looking. So there too he fits the bill. On the sets, while we were not shooting, I used to keep starring at him like a fool. Finally he asked me, what was it that made me gawk at him, I replied, “You so remind me of my father” He was cool with it, I think he even liked that because he himself is a fan of my dad. And let me tell you, what people think of him as a tyrant is completely untrue. He is very warm, giving and a very sharing person. Actually, Salman is one of the key factors I signed up for the film, my role isn’t that long”
So what is your role? “Well, I don’t want to give away too much. All I like to say is that I play Salman’s wife Pooja. She is this dutiful wife who loves her husband to the hilt, whereas Salman is an easy-going guy. That’s all that you’ll get from me, the rest, go and watch for yourself” Since she plays the role of a traditional Bharatiya nari, what is her look like? “Ah, I have a very traditional look. Band gala salwar kurtas, chudis, kajal, the works. I am actually love this look, it’s very comfortable. I don’t have to worry, ‘Arre yeh dikh raha hain, who dikh raha hain’ I was very chilled out in these clothes”
And how was it working on the film? Your girl-bonding on the sets has almost become a topic for national discussion! Esha laughs, “These girls actually busted my myth that female actors can’t be friends. We bonded so well that I have to scrap my theory. Lara and I would sprint away on shopping sprees in between shots and Anees would keep looking for us. Besides, we also kept nicknames for each of us. One was called Grizzli bear and some such thing. We had a really mad time. It was great fun!”
