well i agree wid u on literacy rate and all that but let me tell u one thing that u make a different movie wid different subject and promote it agressively on print and electronic media then i can bet the educated class will also come and watch those films u talked abt laaj well laaj was a different film for sure but the promotion was really poor and thats why the film went unnoticed,babu and jannat ki talash were poor movies technically the sound and picture was pathetic so how can u expect the people to watch these kinda movies,film making is an art but u need to promote ur product as well u have an example of ajab gul's kyun tumse itna pyar the movie was high on face value although the script and screenplay was not that gr8 but still the movie emerged as one of the biggest hits of the year jus cuz of agressive promotion.
