Superfans will be in the stadium. Back in the days of Madden 12, crowd close-up shots were a crucial element of the game's design however, they waned as the PS4 and Xbox One rolled around. Ironically, crowd close-ups were back in Madden 21 and Madden 22 will add them to the game with "Superfans" cosplaying, or cosplaying football fans that function as an official team the mascot. Many of these fans exist in real-life, but people like Fireman Ed will not be able to lead the J-E.T.S. chant in Madden 22. EA declares that the expense of finding them and adding their likenesses could be prohibitively expensive.
Face of Franchise is back Face of Franchise is back. Although it's not new, it's a great way to tell a different story. The story this year will be called "United We Rise." Face of the Franchise is a fascinating story mode. However, it has been criticized for its shortening and lack of depth over the last two years. Graddy claims that this year's version has to be better, "There was enough feedback from some of our reviewers and fans that they wanted more out of the story , and greater progression. So I believe what we'll announce over the next few weeks will be an outcome of some of those comments. I think it's going create a more positive image of the Franchise."
Next-Gen Stats will be available in Year 2 last year: the next-gen version of Madden 21 introduced Next-Gen Stats -- an ambitious endeavor to utilize real-world data from on-field sensors to give superstar players customized animations and other improvements. Madden 22 will bring many improvements to Next Generation Stats. It will include information on ballcarriers' aggressive passing, ballcarriers breaking tackles and team tactics. This is in addition to improvements being made to tackle mechanics, sideline detection and other gameplay elements.
