Walk over to and speak with any of the NPCs listed above, and choose the Gamble option. You’ll see a selection of items to choose from, along with a refresh button you can click to get a new list of items—right-click on any item to gamble on it to see if you can get a good one.
One thing to note is that not all items are available to gamble, and some will have character-level requirements. By level 52, you’ll have unlocked every type of item.These numbers come from Diablo Wiki, and the odds are entirely unaffected by your character’s level, magic find, vendor, and anything else. As you can imagine, unique items are quite rare with only a one in two thousand chance, so a vast majority of your rolls will be magical items.
These items all have the potential to roll some very good attributes, making them best-in-slot gambling items. However, you could also roll for lower-level items if you are in the process of leveling. Some good low-level gambling items are boots, gloves, and belts if you have some extra gold on hand.
The best stats you should aim for are plus all skills, faster cast rate, faster run and walk speed, raw stats, resistances, and, of course, sockets. When gambling on rings, you should aim for a faster cast rate, double attributes, life, mana, and resistances. You can go for a double leech ring as well, depending on your class.
One thing to note is that your character level (cLvl) determines the item level (iLvl) of what you’re gambling. The item level of your gambled item can be +4 or -5 of your character level. In other words, if you are level 90, you can roll up to a 94 item level or as low as an 85 item level on a gambled item.The cost of gambling in Diablo 2 Resurrected varies solely based on your character level. The higher level your character is, the more it will cost to gamble items. This is true except for rings and amulets, which will always cost the same amount to gamble regardless of level.
Gheed’s Fortune is a unique Grand Charm item that reduces vendor prices by up to 15%, among other stats. Edge Bow is a Rune Word that also decreases vendor prices by 15%. If you plan to do a lot of gambling, you can consider holding onto these items to save some gold in the long run.
