It’s the shaadi season in this Khandaan !

The hype surrounding Shaadi No.1 has barely died down, and Fardeen and Zayed are already getting ready for Shaadi No.2 and Shaadi No.3! Fret not, for you will not be subjected to two more reel barbadis.. .uh …shaadis! This time the two are all set to get hitched in real life.. Here is a sneak peak into what kind of preparations are being done in this Khandaan!

The brides to-be…
Fardeen will be tying the knot with the eldest daughter of yesteryears actress Mumtaz and London-based business man Mayur Madhvani. Having known each other all their lives, this union is a case of childhood friends falling in love.

Chote bhaiya, Zayed has taken off after Fardeen. He too is marrying his school sweetheart, Mallaika Parekh. Both of them were in boarding school, together. Cho chweet, no?

The venue…
If the two lovers had it their way, Fardeeen and Natasha would abscond to a faraway island. But since that plan didn’t work out, plan B is that they will exchange wedding vows at the posh J W Marriot Hotel in Mumbai. Starting on December 13th, the celebrations will go on for four days, upto Decmeber 16th. That doesn’t sound too bad, does it?

On the other hand, the Hyatt Regency is the place chosen for Zayed and Mallaika’s nuptials on November 20th. The mehndi ceremony will take place at Zayed’s home whereas the sangeet will be at Mumbai’s Grand Maratha. This will be followed by another do at the family’s Golden Palms Resort and Spa in Bangalore.

Designer plans for the trousseau…
Natasha’s trousseau will be given a personal touch as Fardeen’s mother Sundari will be designing it herself. For the wedding, the outfit will be an ethnic ensemble in traditional shades of red and gold, whereas the outfit for the reception will be an Indo Western outfit. The mehndi and sangeet night outfits will be designed by Tarun Tahiliani. Fardeen’s trousseau on the other hand will be designed by his personal designer Shaahid Amir.

The other bahu, Mallaika, too has ample help from her ma-in-law. Her wedding outfit will be a surprise from Zarine. Designer Adarsh Gill has designed a sari for the D-Day, as well as salwar-kameez for the other functions.

And the guest list includes…
The combined guest list of these two weddings will probably represent the who’s who of the country including the prime minister MR. manmohan singh and many other leaders and corporate and bollywood biggies... We could be name dropping for hours! 2000 odd guests are expected to grace the Zayed- Mallaika gala.

The Fardeen- Natasha wedding, too will see the crème da le crème of society from film stars to politicians, in full attendance.

So this household will be buzzing with activity right up to December. Going by the preparations, both the weddings have the makings of a Bollywood Blockbuster! We wish the both the couples a lifetime of happiness as they get ready to take the plunge!

zayed is the son of yesteryears screen star sanjay khan and zarin khan ...sanjay khan was apopular actor of the 60 's and 70's and brother of feroz khan another big actor of that era . both feroz khan and sanjay khan are producers directors . sanjay made the huge tv series the sword of tipu sultan recently besides many movies that he produced and directed. fardeen khan is feroz khan s son . the third brother of feroz and sanjay is akbar khan who just made tajmahal with noorjahans grand daughter . zayed s mom zarin khan was a model in the late 60's and 70's.i dont remember if she was ms india or not .... ok he married mallika mahtani who is a hindu and is a bomabayite coming from a non filmi background . they are high school sweethearts . zayed s sister is suzanne khan who married hrithik roshan whos a hindu and is an interior designer. fardeens sister is laila khan who married a hindu too . his name is rajpal . she s settled in new delhi now . fardeen marries yesteryears screen diva mumtaaz 's daughter in december. mumtaaz and feroz khan were a quite hit pair in those days . both brothers were dashing stars of that era and are now movie makers knows for their big budget spiffy movies . theirs is a highly influential and well regarded film family and are A listers on india s social scene .

oh!thanks for the answer!
it's very bizzare coz a classmate, who comes from india told me that hindus and muslims don't mingle, i mean that they ignore themselves in india.
is it true?
i mean, the high society, like the bolly stars, seems to forget the differences.
but indian people?

well either u r makin it up or ur class mate is an idiot. i have many friends who have interfaith marriages. look at cricketers...azhar married sangeeta bijlani..who was ms india and an actress. irfan pathan seein kim sharma....i have many friends who have had interfaith marriages..darling there s no state religion in india which means no one cares outside of your homes as to what religion one belongs to . its only in very poor uneducated people where there is this segregation probably ...these are the people who are exploited by politics of religion and divisibility. these are the people who fight over temples and mosques. any workin person ..gettin a decent education doesnt give a f**k . thats why u dont see any alqaeda or other terrorists from india bombing other countries. religion is not the way of life in india but freedom is . whoever integrates to this concept lives a happy fun and free life unlike pakistan where it is a theocratic state and everything starts and finishes with religion. i ll quote shahrukh khan as an example ..when he married gauri he was just a regular dude and gauri was just an ordinay middle class girl . they got together and eventually got married much before he became a star . i have so many boys and girls from my college who have married out of faith without any problems. guess u see this only in india cause of the plurality of society .

oh,
u know for us it's very hard to understand this interfaith marriages.
i mean, more exactly between hindus and muslims, coz islam permits a muslim marry a jew or a christian coz it's the same God.
i think that muslims in india don't matter about this just coz, lik u said, there's a plurality of society in dia.
u know, France is also a secular and a democratic country, full of pluralities.
but it's different from india coz here muslims wanna preserve their culture, religion and at the same time
be condidered lik true french people.
So, i confess it's not easy for me to understand this hindus/muslims marriages.
but every human being has the right to choose and marry the person that he luvs.
so, ok shahrukh married gauri, but it's not a problem coz each other respect their religions.

trrrring ....wrong again . what kinda muslim are ya when u dont even understand ur religion.how old are ya ...13 lol.. islam doesnt permit any interfaith marriages. more so with christians cause of historical wars and the basic tenet of idol worshipping. in any case christians have a major problem with islam for ever and especially now . jews ..no way cause islam has always been at loggerheads with the zionist agenda of jews and islamists are anti semitic . hindus .....just pakistani muslims have a hindu problem cause of the whole partition thing . so basically islam isnt gettin along with anything . talkin about france ...the world knows whats goin on there with the whole hijaab controversy and also muslims rioting cause of years of discrimination . look the basic fact is that you cant live in some country and not respect its credentials . the trouble is that muslims are very fanataic when it comes to their religion and its that mindset that puts them at loggerheads with other societies. i mean look at france ..its a secular country so there should be no religious symbolism like the hijaab or whatever. its the same with india . there is no religious symbolism allowed be it hindu or muslim. religion is supposed to be demonstrated in ur homes or places of worship ....not at the places of work or on streets or schools or colleges...i ll quote the example of many muslim movie artists and sania mirza...some imam sahib took offence to her wearin micro minis and talkin about premarital sex using condoms and he raved about how its a sin and stuff and was basically condeming her for it . the girls got spunk and she said him to basically shut the f**k up cause she wasnt livin in saudi or pakistan and her religion is hers to deal with . no one has the authority to tell someone how he or she conducts oneself religion wise. what happened ..she s playin all over the world and is a huge celebrity in india .could she wear what she does in pakistan or tell the imam to shut the f**k up ....she would have been killed .   it ll never be easy for you to understand this for the reason cause you havent been exposed to it . i have seen it in united staes and UK . muslims tend to stay among themselves.....hardly integrate. why live in a country when you dont respect its constitution or condemn their policies. india is the only place in the world where muslims are more secular ...thats why there is no terrorism on a daily basis and muslims can become anything they want ...be it a moviestar ..sportsman ...busineesmen....richest person in india like aziz premji...or even president of india like abdul kalam azad. its the only place where there are the most interfaith marriages between hindus and muslims cause the young generation of both hindus and muslims are on level playing field and basically understand that life is not about bickering about religion but about being successful and having lots of fun . indian muslims are the most moderate and liberated of the lot and thats why their energies go towards making something of themselves rather than invloving themselves in jihads against other countires and stuff. i am not speaking off my hat here . i have been to pakistan and i found it to be very intense place to the extent of intimidation and boredom . no offense but anyone would go crazy livin under such strict draconian laws which shape the midset that pakistanis have . i m not sayin its good or bad . its good for you ..bad for us ...the same way how you would be miserable in india seein what you call all the begairati and behayai. but i love my freedom and i love places where i get it . similarly u love your religious ethos and are comfortable where you get em . indian muslims are not pakistani muslims. they are brought up differently and their mind sets are different ..atleast the majority of em . of course there are idiots of both the hidu and muslim variety who are still livin in the old ages ..but that s true for any secular country . there would always be people who are mentally unilateral and are confrontationists but they are the little uneducated poor chunk. with education and integration tehy would come around too. the majority is not like that . see what happened to BJP . it was thrown out of power . the nessage is clear ..anyone who goes agains indias secular constitution would be thrown out and isolated. we can make the mistake once but not twice. lol

ok!lol
u r the same! more agressive!lol
first i 'm 20 and not 13!lol
second, why are u always talking about pakistan, i mean i'm french!!!!
more exactly my father is moroccan and my mother is french and CHRISTIAN, so i beg your pardon but according to the qu'ran, a muslim can marry a jew or a christian coz it's the same God.
and i'm muslim, proud of it, and please don't trust the american news!!!
i mean every body knows here in france that the american and their medias hate french people!
and what do u know about french riots? lol
only what u see in tv, and here, french tv told that in some countries like usa and russia, the medias don't tell the truth about the real situation.
so sorry miss!lol
don't scorn me pleaseeeeeeeeeeee coz i can't bear this.
bye.
