All the schools and colleges affiliated with BISE DG Khan start the process of admissions and registration of new students in SSC and HSSC classes before the start of the new academic year. Matric and intermediate new academic year starts in April and September respectively while the admission process starts in February and July for SSC and HSSC classes respectively.

Model papers and past papers are helpful for the students of DG Khan Board because model papers are made according to the new syllabus and paper pattern of the board and students can download the latest model papers from the official site of BISE DG Khan. Along with that, past papers are used to know about the important questions which are asked in the previous exams while these past papers, contain papers of previous 5 or 10 years, are available from the market.
BISE DG Khan issues the date sheet and roll number slips of matric and intermediate exams at an appropriate time before the start of the exams. Date sheets of both the exams are issued by the board two months earlier than the start of the exams while roll number slips are sent to the students one month before the start of the exams. SSC and HSSC exams begin in March and May respectively. Date sheets are available at the site of DG Khan Board while roll number slips are posted to the addresses of the students.
Just after two or three months of the annual exams, DG Khan Board announces the results of matric and intermediate classes. 9th and 10th class exams are held in March and April while 11th and 12th class exams are organized by the board during the months of May and June. These results are uploaded at the official site of the board and also dispatched to the mentioned addresses of the students.
