The soundtrack of 'Chocolate' is faring far from well, even the aped number has not helped in boosting sales. The 'Zehreeli Raatein' song on the CD reminds the listener of the track 'Aadat' by the noted band from Pakistan, Jal. [Jal was in the news recently (yet again) for the 'Lamhein' ('Zeher') controversy.]

The credit for 'Zehreeli Raatein' on the soundtrack has been accorded to composer Pritam (of 'Dhoom') but he has denied composing the number. "I have not composed that song. It is there only for promotional reasons and does not form a part of the film," he said. Does he know that the song bears a resemblance to 'Aadat'? "I heard about that much later," he tells. So whose decision was it to recreate that track and put it on the soundtrack? Pritam doesn't know or won't tell!
