I thought about what I actually learned in high school (and before) and what I use in my life now. And my question is, what did you learn in high school (actually learned - you could reasonably discuss it in your 20s) that has helped you in your adult life? What did you learn that you think just used up space in your brain?

I remember very little from high school in terms of education, but it was a very bad time for me, so what I remember most is my social position at that time. In college, after spending a few years between school and odd jobs, I studied media, and I really enjoyed it. I remember most of it, but it's completely useless to me now and I regret not doing it.

I studied medicine. It was so hard that I had to sit with textbooks all the time on weekends. Now I have my own clinic. But my son does not want to study in a group, he says he is tired. He took a private tutoring course to study better, he is an economist. I was against it, since group classes are better, but the pandemic is changing the situation. I hope he gets through. He likes it anyway, which is progress. He didn't like to sit in class, and at home he studies so hard that I can't wait for him to come home for dinner. So there are benefits to everything.
