shikari legend ...u r an idiot . dude ek to tumhaare logo ko kaam do ...pakistan se bhaag bhaag ke India aa rahe hai kyunki app log artists ki izzat hi nahi karte neither u pay them the money. there are no good national labels and any international labels in pakistan. saara kaam piracy pe chalta hai. industry naam ki koi cheez nahi hai. adnan sami..meera...strings...ali zafar ....sab India pare rehte hai . lol boss pakistan needs to get a life cause there s nutthin to do there. no wonder they all wanna defect to India. pretty much all of your good artists keep cummin to India cause they want international exposure and also there s no money and izzat in Pakistan. no one knows of any enternainment industry in Pakland . sad but true. the entertainment capital of asia is bombay dude and there s so much work that we absorb artists from all over thw world. guess who will defect next from pakistan . its hilarious

for yoyo--> long but interesting read
dude..its give and take ..sure we invite them cause its a huge industry and now not only pakistanis but models , choreogreaphers, fashion designers, record labels, movie studios, channels, artists and stars, musicinans from all over the world make a beeline for india .but once they come there they taste blood . bombay is the place ...vibrant , glamourous..uninhibited..very happening international film capital . there s so much work that compared to it pakistani media is non existant. not to mention the international exposure, money, fame and respect that artists get . be it musicians, film stars or television stars, models, technicians or whatever . pakistan doesnt have an entertainment industry, piracy is rampant , attitude of people is not inclined to arts and entertaniment and not to mention its a restrictive society so there s so much that you cant do in pakistan that s just so part and parcel of indian daily life. difference is huge. i read these posts regarding pakistans entertainment industry that oh we have to do this and that . naah its the people and society dude. unless that changes and comes outta age nutthin would get better. the culture of a place defines it. the attitudes define it . freedom defines it . you know in India women and families make the larger chunk of film watching audience . while in pakistan they dont even go out to watch movies in cinemas. there s no co education so people are not comfortable with opposite sex.in India every school has co education since kindergarten barring a few. small little things like these matter .it defines the society and their perspectives. there s a certain way of life in pakistan and its restrictive and stifling. you probably wont feel it cause you were born and brought up there but for outsiders and anyone who tastes India and the freedom it provides they want to keep coming back especially pakistanis cause its a restrictive islamic society there and india is the best place they can fit in cause of langiage and stuff, not to mention the adulation and respect they get . so they either keep making trips or just stay put. nutthin wrong there . each country has its own way of things. urs is an islamic society . ever heard of an entertainment industry in an islamic country. iranian cinema for sure but its art house, true to their culture and is for niche audience. they cant make mainstream movies either. you need freedome of speech, freedom from censorship, freedom to show whatever u want and moreover life is not so great in islamic socieites so its not fun watching what comes off there. pakistan and india are two different countries. peoples attitudes are different. we have arts and music and stuff in our blood. its part and parcel of our lives and culture. you have to show whats true to your culture rather than making sh*t that your own people cant identify with. bollywood movies are indian movies, represent indian culture and ethos, have eveolved over a period of time like the society itself. indian society is in midst of a sexual revolution same like what happened in the west in the 60's and 70's. the issues and plots are from an indian context and it encompasses the globalization of india. censorship is being abolished cause the government shouldnt control what people can see and cant see. there are a lot of nuances. our people learn dance as a paret of their school curriculum dude and their are courses in everything from acting, direction, cinematography , art direction, fashion in every university , not to mention specialized film institutes all over the place. people respect the institution and government supports it. our actots become chief ministers and federal ministers. there are fan clubs all over the place. there is the best of equipment and recording studios and other facilities . there a filmcities in 14 states. big hollywood studios and tv channels are there that are taking indian cinema global. there are fashion icons like ms india, world, asia pacafic and universe. its a celebrity driven society. the amount of money these people make is astounding. shahrukh khan payed over 9 crores in just income tax in 2005 and he just had two movies and a bunch of ads. people are crazy about them. so in essence it takes time to get here but the bottom line is the audience which should be receptive . spend as much as you want on facilities and equipment but until there s a culture of arts and entertainment and respect for it, a free society nutthin will happen. as far as the topic of copying is concerned . 1000 movies banti hai sirf hindi me. uske ilawa regional mocies banti hai har state me . ab har koi yash chopra to nahi hai .kuch gadhe to copy karenge hi . its all good .samjhe bhai yoyo
