When beginning a new packaging project, examining the available space is essential. Automatic packaging equipment is probably out of the question if the first few bottles of the new product will be made in a garage or kitchen. However, as mentioned above, tabletop equipment is available for projects where space is at a premium, from bottle rinsers and liquid fillers to capping and labeling machines. Naturally, if demand reaches a certain point, a packager may be compelled to locate the space required for more automated packing equipment. Still, affordable but effective tabletop equipment is often the best place to start for new items.
