LAHORE: For the first time since partition, Pakistani and Indian artistes will perform together at a peace concert in the UK on September 20 and 21, UK-based promoter Shoaib Alam told Daily Times on Tuesday
At this unique show, India’s Daler Mehndi, Sukhbeer, Meeka and Ravena Tandon will perform with Pakistan’s Jawad Ahmed, Junoon, Zile Huma, Meera, Nirma, Rafaqat Ali Khan and Humaira Arshad at Wembley Arena (September 20) and at Glasgow (September 21) in the Super Music Masti Peace Concert 2003.
Mr Alam said Meera and Nirma would perform two dances while Raveena Tandon will perform one dance at each concert. Mr Alam said special guests from Pakistan would include Reema, Veena Malik , Resham, Moammar Rana and his wife Monaza, Nadeem and television and stage artist Irfan Khoosat.
Mr Alam said Indian star Dharmindra and his son Bobby Deol had confirmed they would participate. He said he was asking a few more stars from India but they had yet to confirm their participation.
He said he expected more than fifteen thousand people at each of the concerts.
Mr Alam said he had successfully hosted three concerts in Wembley Areena. He said the first one was with Ustad Nustrat Fateh Ali Khan, and more than 10,000 people attended that show. He said his last concert had been in May and it had a crowd of more than 12,000.

who here thinks that sunny deol NOT coming is a GOOD thing?! if there's a mix of pakistani's and indians at the show, and he comes out, i think he'll get his ass booed by the pakistani's for obvisou reasons!! that might trigger some negative reaction from the indian's and b4 u know it there'll be a problem. lol. i say keep him off the show!

well . . the abrar concer is on the 23th to 25th argust in the dome . . and the other concer with meera anbd resham is in wemble arena on the 20th september

the thing is u all say dhaler mendhi and reevena tadon is coming bu8t on the flyer that i got yestday they was not onit . . and abrar is also not coming . . the ppl on the leaflet and adverttise ment are

the biggest singing names i see on that list are jawad ahmed and humaira arshad. i dont even know who sukbeer is?! and if this is supposed to be an india/pakistan combination concert, why is it that we're sending MAIN EVENT people, while india's sending backup dancers?!?!?! lol.
.....but then again, our singers are better anyhow, so i don't know who india could produce even if they wanted to send big names. lol.

but it dont day its a peace concert . . and for the back up dacers they been coming to the super music masti concert in the uk for 3 years now . . so their not being sent by the indians
