so since i got admission in petroleum, i am planning to leave my job at end of may 2006 will be going to school full-time and work part-time (cooking)

This program is 36 weeks long. It is based on what Petroleum Companies define as the necessary knowledge and skills for an entry level operator to have. Graduates can expect to work in field operations, oil batteries, gas plants, pipelines and Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) facilities.


Some of our industry partners include: Conoco Phillips, Keyera Energy,Burlington Resources, Anadarko Canada, Dominion Exploration,Bonavista Petroleum, HSE Integrated, Airborne Energy Solutions, Grizzly Resources, Devon Canada and Sifton Energy. Industry surveys have shown a very large demand for trained entry-level operators across Western Canada. According to the Albertans in the Petroleum, Gas and Chemical Process Operators occupational group working part-time or full-time earned from $35,400 to $115,000 a year.
Average salary was $77,900 a year.
