atleast paki movies has no bedroom, kissing scene..
indian movie is not soultion to improve film industry..
Rashid kwaja already said..
The main issue is the piracy issue..all pirated indian movies are avaiable in the market...who will see movie in the cinima?
Promoting talents of film making and Govt support will revive the film industry..
and Feraz khan indian actor has much said about pakistani people in our country..indian and pakistani friendship is not good..both people still hate each other..

Yes I’m very happy that they are banned, only the reason mughal-azam , taj mahal were screened because they story was related linked to our great mughals, who were kings of Asia.
Even if Indian films were to be screened it wouldn’t benefit our country, some good reason
1. Our cinemas our not family standards mainly in lakshmi chowk area, which is heart of Lahore.
2. Cinemas will get set on fire or bomb attack, explosion
3. Indians films are not suitable for our society because of their nudity, vulgar, rude scenes.
4. If wrong step is taken in our society honor killing has played vulnerable roles in our people. E.g. female in our society can not cross some boundaries.
Note:
Mujras or Punjabi films is culture of the people of Punjab or whole Pakistan. Yes some people don’t watch these films because of their backgrounds may be they well educated or religious. People watch these type of films or listen to mujras because of their society. Punjab mainly people come from rural village background, largely 80% of Lahore which is old Lahore.

wat rubbish, they were banned from day 1, indian movies have never been unbanned in the first place, mugal e azam and taj mahal were given special screenings because they relate to muslims.

Indians movies have always been banned there is no such answer for this simple as. Yes In this country everything is piracy lolly, bolly, holly are all pirate and everyone watches these because the market is cheaper e.g them plaza in hall road are main suppliers in the whole Pakistan.
Cinema are not family standard mainly are almost packed when there is Punjabi flick, female turnout is not good because of our society. E.g. Respect, culture issues.
Yes I do believe that our industry market has fallen down completely un the last 20 years probably because sum good reason
1, it cheaper, 3rd class films scripts , awful cameras
2, mafia have been ruling for the last 20 years, jagga production, gujjar production, every third film is named jagga or whatever
3, these producers comes from rural village background they make money from they agricultural farming then invest it on films. Another good e.g of this is the Food St in Gwalmandhi- them tall buildings are owned by badmash’s of Lahore.
believe me, these are the reason we can never make highly developed films till we get rid of these people. I come from this background too but I’m not afraid to speak out and I’m against this issue to be honest- because my country, people comes first.
Going back in 70s and early 80s our industry was booming the films were class superhits them day films were made costly and location were in uk, usa Thailand, bangkong we had good stars them day, such as
Mohmd ali, Faisal, Nadeem, Salma aga, Mumtaz, Babra shareef, Waheed murad, Talish, Zeba, Lehri, Ali ejaz, Nanna and not to forget young Javed shaikh

paki govt dont want to provide a market for indians....this is loss for paki industry..
mujras avaiable in the market because of piracy issue..that's why I am saying the actual issue is piracy..without finishing u can't revive the paki cinimas..whether hollyood movie released or bollywood movie..
i agree with u 100 % piracy is the bone of contention as far as vulgarity in pakistani films r concerned its only in punjabi films n that could b prevented easily if our censor board dont take rishwat
u wont believe it that in taj mahal a wedding scene of sonia jehan n the hero was not censored n shown as it is our pak films cant think of such scenes so u can imagine that what will happen if regularly indian films will b released rishwat de kar sub kuch chal jaye ga
so prevention is better than cure
