Forced Marriages, your views!!!!

A uk perspective

this is a topic I feel very very strongly about. There are too many girls/boys suffering with no voice there in silence, in despair, no one to help them
More needs to be done for them
How many more girls/boys have to become victims of this or even worse honour killings.

There needs to be a change doesnt there?
To many people are suffering because of this horrible thing "Forced marriages". It needs to stop.
How many cases have there been over the last few years alone, they are deeply sick and tragic. These people have lost their lives due this contiouning cruel practise
We the people have to sort it out it is our duty to do so.

WHy should these girls/boys have to keep suffering in this way. Something has to be done, it is a deep issue that must be sorted, it is unacceptable and sickening. How could anyone ever treat their own daughter son like that, just for honour etc.
How can they treat another life like that, it just makes me so angry
When you read about how sad it sometimes ends too

Will this threat work though or will it drive it further.
Maybe this is the one STEP that might or could finally, threaten parents who drug their daughters and take them to pakistan to marry uneducated cousins from the villages. It is about time isnt it, at least this measure could now make parents think twice about what they are are enforcing uopn their children and girls will know there is a way out if they dont want to continue with the marriage.

Forced marriages are a sickening thing that are imposed upon children. It brings misery and sadness into their lives. Many are suffering with no voice, frightened and in despair, because they dont know what to do, and how to get out of the situation.

There are just so many girls/boys living in fear torn between two
cultures,
for example. Not knowing what too do. Suffering on their own, living in
fear each day, being abused, for not doing what their told, for not doing
what their parents see as the right thing. When they do not comply their
spirits are crushed, they are left alone in pain, suffering in anguish,
with no one there to help them. Pouring their eyes out with discontent.
The whole issue in short is that. FORCED MARRIAGES RUIN STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!
The issue is related to gender inequality and human rights. The growing
problem of violence against women has to be addressed by communities as
well as policy makers. Parents have to warned by the Authorities and
community leaders.
FOR it is a battle for the rights of these girls/boys. AND WE MUST NO
GIVE
UP. Until we get something done we have TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

To Many people in the community feel it is a 'Tabbo subject
one that needs not to be addressed or looked at, not only is this idea
stupid but it is sick in its princple. They are just denying it is going
on, they are too afraid to talk about or deal with. But why? Some people
just ignore the issue and believe it does not go on, but it does. And we

I say this to them It is happening in the HERE AND NOW.

Let them know that there are people who are out there, they can reach. They

say this to those people

Something has to be done, this cannot go on anymore, why should this be happening. It is all brutle, sickening, disgraceful, saddening. How could it be allowed to happen.

Action needs to be taken now, many people just ignore all thats happening in many communites where it happens (Forced marriages, honour killings) I have one thing to say to them WHY?

WHY turn a blind eye to it all. WHY treat your own daughter,sons, your own bllod like that. They are piece of you for God's sake. You are totally disgraceful. How could you harm them. Bully them, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
