Rumours abound that Veena has feelings for her co-star Adnan in the film Channa Sachchi Muchchi. The actress has been spending a lot of time chatting with Adnan after her shoots. Veena was earlier linked to Babrak.
Hoping for a settlement
Zain's wife has approached the court to demand a divorce from him. In her complaint she says that her music director-husband has been torturing her and ill-treating their children. Zain pleads that due to a lack of good projects coming his way, he has been feeling frustrated and therefore behaved badly with his family.
Lucky miss
Saud's Mauser pistol accidentally fired when he was trying to load it, scaring the living daylights out of him and his co-star Fakhr Imam, while on the sets of Sangeeta's untitled Punjabi film. The safety catch of the pistol was not on and the deafening blast that followed left everyone numb. The crew, fearing the worst, rushed over to Imam, who had jumped to one side when the pistol went off. Luckily, no one was hurt.
False charges
Nirma was arrested for not paying the advance money that she owed a stage producer. The complainant charged that the actress, on his insistence, had signed a cheque that later bounced. Nirma - who is out on bail - says she has been wrongly implicated as she had paid the advance, which she had taken from the producer in 2004.
All's well
Meera has quashed rumours that there was something amiss between her Indian mentor and director Mahesh Bhatt and herself. The actress claims that everything is well between them. Insiders, however, feel Meera was anxious not to lose her role in the Indian film Akelapan, directed by Bhatt's daughter Pooja, and this is why she was ready to make amends.
