Jumma-tul-Wida to be observed Today

LAHORE: Like other parts of the country, Jumma-tul-Wida, marking last Friday of the ongoing holy month of Ramadan will be observed with due reverence and amidst fool-proof security arrangements in the Punjab capital, today.

Prayers arrangements have been made in more than two hundred mosques and at open places where faithful will kneel down before their Creator for attracting mercy and blessings of the Almighty Allah.

As usual the biggest Friday congregation is likely to be held at historic Badshahi Mosque, Wazir Khan Mosque, Data Darbar Mosque, Masjid-e-Shuhadah, Masjid-e-Ahl-e-Hadith Lawrence Road, Masjid Darul Salam inside Jinnah Garden, Ali Masjid Shadman and at number of other mosques including Islampura (Krishan Nagar).

Law enforcing agencies have also made strict security arrangements to avoid any mishap on the occasion.
