Producer Viveck Vaswani has roped in a stellar cast for his next movie DULHA MIL GAYA – SAY YES TO A RELATIONSHIP. It will star Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, Fardeen Khan and Ish*tta Sharrma in principal roles. A section of the media had [mis]reported that SRK has a guest role in the film. “Rubbish! SRK has a proper role in the film,” Viveck Vaswani dismisses the half-baked news.

The film marks the directorial debut of Mudassar Aziz. “I was very clear, until and unless I had an outstanding script and an outstanding director, I would not make a film. Mudassar has worked with me since the day he entered the industry. I have tremendous faith and complete trust, not only in his talent, but in his ability to look at things from the correct perspective,” says Viveck. Mudassar is not only directing the film, but has also penned the script and lyrics.

What’s DULHA MIL GAYA – SAY YES TO A RELATIONSHIP all about? “The film is a warm, sometimes funny, often witty look at contemporary relationships through the eyes of four very separate and very sorted characters,” he divulges.

Back to the formidable cast! How did SRK react to the script? “He was completely chilled. He said ‘yes’ instantly. I was overwhelmed. I have no words to describe what I felt that day. His role has been sculpted only for him,” Viveck beams with joy.

Fardeen was another revelation. “He too heard the narration and gave his approval instantaneously. His dignity, professionalism and support has been wonderful. It’s my wish that this should be the best film of his career,” Viveck enthuses.

Anuj Saxena’s Maverick Productions and Viveck’s Insight Productions will jointly produce the film, which will be launched on 23rd January, 2007 with the recording of a song. Principal photography will commence in February.

DULHA MIL GAYA – SAY YES TO A RELATIONSHIP will be shot in the Caribbean and talks are on with the Govt. of Trinidad and Tobago for location shooting there. “The country is beautiful and I have no doubts that the film will be a visual delight,” Viveck states.
