Darrell Hair is set to sue the ICC and Pakistan Cricket Board for racial discrimination according to BBC reports.
He was at the centre of September's forfeited Test between England and Pakistan, at The Oval, after docking Pakistan five runs for ball tampering. In November the ICC ruled Hair wouldn't be selected for international matches between full member nations.
Hair, who is currently standing at the World Cup Cricket League in Kenya, made, and later retracted, an offer to resign as an elite umpire in return for $US500,000 while Pakistan were later cleared of ball tampering at an ICC hearing.
According to the BBC, Hair claims the PCB "unlawfully induced" the ICC to ban him last year. When ICC officials were approached by Cricinfo they would not comment on the report. "
