PTV Global has begun EPG data testing ahead of its official Sky Digital launch later this month.

As revealed exclusively first here on BizAsia.co.uk last month, PTV Global will launch on Sky Digital on Monday 26th March.

PTV Global is one of the five channels (PTV-1, PTV World, PTV National, PTV Bolan, PTV Global) of Pakistan Television Corporation.

Prime TV, which was previously known as PTV Prime is also said to be working closely with the upcoming channel.

PTV Global's programming will comprise of general entertainment, religious shows, news and current affairs shows.

In the meantime EPG data tests (full video and audio testing is expected to begin in the next few days) can be viewed in the following way:

-> Using your Sky Digi remote, go to Services Menu
-> System Setup (4)
-> Add Channels (4)
-> Enter the frequency: 11.222 (V), FEC 2/3, Symbol Rate 27500
-> Find Channels and Press SELECT
-> Highlight "53116" service and press Yellow button.
-> Return to Services Menu
-> Other Channels (6) on STB / (8) on Sky+
-> "53116" should be listed and available
