As the sun bursts upon the glen,
I sit and contemplate, where and when.
Our love started on a distant shore,
friendship turned into so much more.
On shifting sands were obligations,
you gave, took back with hesitations.
In your heart, is there room for me,
or shall I fly, on the wind be free?
Love unbridled, could not restrain,
our emotions we could not contain.
So precious was loves revelry,
like melodic tunes in harmony.
A single rose amid your bouquet,
among the myriad along the way.
Way too many in which too share,
so many lovers, is there room there?
Search your heart, in chambers hidden
do you still miss our love forbidden.
Is there still a place, that beats for me,
is there room enough to still love me?
