as dreams drift down from her star.
Each one en-captures a moment,
her wishes streaming from afar.

Wide eyed, embedded in thought,
complacent and eager is she.
Longing for true love of her own,
unclear what her future will be.

Determination drives her soul,
looks forward and will not waiver.
On a quest to fulfill her dream,
to find her true love and savor.

Windmills of her mind ever turn,
loves fantasies of tomorrow.
She now puts faith in her future,
reaching for new dreams to borrow.

Her life wanders like the river,
twisting and turning without end.
She is drawn to the sea of love,
ever searching around each bend.

Of things you want to do,
Or of things you want to happen.
Dreams are what they are called.
When people are young,
Their dreams are of the future.
They are about all the things,
They want to do when they get older.
When people are old,
Their dreams are of the past,
They are about all the things,
They did not do when they were younger.
Considering this fact,
I will look at my dream
and pursue it immediately.
Because I fear,
That when I am older,
My dream may be nothing,
But an old faded picture.

A Wish A Dream

Wishes on stars.
They fill up our hearts
With beautiful visions of
"Wouldn't it be nice".

We close our eyes
With a smile on our lips.
As the night turns to dreams,
where the wishes left off.

Beautiful fantasy's,
Of warm sunny days
Lush green grasses
by streams we may lay.

Our desires, turned to wishes,
Fulfilled to perfection
Our hearts fill with joy
From illusions we dream in.

How perfect our worlds,
Or, Newly painted houses
A Pony when we were young
Or for the love, we have been waiting

We Hold out our arms,
and hold close to our hearts,
The visions, the feelings
So lingers, the hopes.

Wishes turn to Dreams,
That fill up the nights
By day back to Wishes
That the dreams, could have life.
