In solace my eyes gaze upward,
searching heavenly costellation.
There before me, a shooting star,
brings forth mindful contemplation.
With gentle sighs, a wish be made,
soft whispers amid eyes shut tight.
To bring you back, one more time,
this night I wish, upon starlight.
To feel the warmth of loving arms,
safe haven from all life's sorrow,
Let time stand still for a while,
trade yesterday for tomorrow.
Oh shooting star, come fall to earth.
bring back his love so enchanted,
Once more let love stand before me,
tonight, let my wish be granted.

My eyes are the twilight
staring at the heavens,
Waiting for the coming
of a lone falling star;
That'll break through
the film of my dewy world,
Then swim the depths
of its deep blue sea.
And be drown by its
ever raging waves,
Until the night shuts
my eyes to only sleep--
Und'rneath the deep blue sea--
Eternally und'r the deep blue sea.
