ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Culture Dr. Ghazi Ghulab Jamal said that the proposal for the establishment of Film Academy in Islamabad is under consideration and is being finalized.
However, Ministry has not determined time for the establishment of Regional Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage patterned on Folklore in all the four provincial capitals.
He expressed these views in a written reply to question of members National Assembly Begum Shamshad Dastar, Robina Saadat and Nawab Abdul Ghani Talpur during questioning hour in the National Assembly session here on Friday.
Dr. G.G Jamal told that documentation of PNCA are being finalized for the establishment Film Academy in Islamabad while Implementation on the project would be started after the completion of funds allocation process.
He told the house that government had spent amount of Rs. 69000 for the preservation and look after of historical places during the year 2006-2007.
He further said that government is taking pragmatic measures in collaboration with UNESCO for preservation of Mohenjodoro
