Winters chill has early come
The night airs cold and lonely breath
Takes strength from this my weary soul
A feeling likened unto death
With tears of longing flowing free
Toward the stars my eyes I raise
And think about the love we shared

Held in the iron grip of past
We dropped the curtain on loves play

The hellish ticking of the clock
The hand of fate has closed the door
