A mind stolen off its thoughts,
a fragile glimpse
of a soul that once belonged,
now bitter memories
remain just to remind me that
I have lost more than

She begged of me to forgive her,
but my heart bled not for the unfaithful,
the sorrow of a burdened childhood,
a life not well lived,
a story without an end..
Could love simply be a symptom of unseen tragedies,
the failure of men to see beyond that
which they refuse
to have control of and become the puppets of fate,
bent to its every will…
I often slip into past memories just to smile
for the happy times that we shared,
now faded memories are all I recall…
In heaven she lives and how wish I could
forgiven her in time and spared a tear…
