What waits beyond the waking hour,
far past the morning dew.
Will sun rays glisten on memories,
or shine upon brand new?
I shall seek strength to see far past,
where currents fly so high.
To find when daunting shadows crest,
the fairness of the sky.
Majestic mountains what do you hide,
give me hope to climb atop.
For the earth is but a crystal ball,
where faith can never stop.
Ahead lies my unknown destiny,
dreams left unfulfilled.
Shall I hold on to what can not be,
can I make time stand still?
Starlight guide me, show me the way,
take me away from here.
Give me wings so I may fly away,
over the rainbow, somewhere.
