yes,they were pressing the geo admins to stop kamran khan show and dr.shahid masood's MERE MUTABIQ.when they refused they had to face the music. government is showing its vulnerability,they have also passed a law that authorises the PEMRA to not only stop the transmission of any trouble making channel but even occupy its office also.

I think people are just blowing it out of proportion. The PERMA law is a valid one. There are hundreds of illegal cable operators in Pakistan. PERMA has not been able to do anything about them because there was no law. Now it has the tool to hit them where it hurts.
and please don't tell me that these cable operators are innocent. Most of these illegal operators are showing what is considered "P**N". Last I checked, it was illegal in Pakistan to show P**N. With the availability of P**N on cable, what are the youth doing in their free time (which they happen to have until they hit 30)? Yes, watching P**N in their homes.

I Think Problem sirf cable channels main nahi hain yeh problem hamari society main hain.Farz karain agar cable main faltoo films etc band kar di jaye to kya new generation un buraiyo say bach sakti hain jo hamari society main hain.

You have basically approved of all ills in the society with that statement. Its hard to completely remove evil from the society. But one needs to control how much evil you can sustain in ur society.
Making "P**N" available 24x7 in the home is just increasing the number of people who can have access to P**N. Are you going to suggest next that Govt should allow women in pakistan to start wearing bikinis?

I dont think the transmission got blocked ... eventually, the whole GEO channel system gets engrave sometimes in the middle of any transmission.. which I call 'the miscalculation'
there was no such harsh word for any of the government or to its system!.. all channels are aware of that they will ber banned!! so why would GEO do such thing????
