Have u noticed that whenever u are praying, u begin to think of some of the weirdest things or u think about things that have happened to u in the past, which u wouldn't normally think about when u are not in prayer.
Well, this is the doing of the Shaataan. and he puts all these thoughts in ur mind, to take ur attention away from Allah. When I pray i think to myself that Allah is watching me and is feeling his presence is a great focus tecnique.

hmm..... kehtay hain keh aik dafaa.. Hazraat Ali R.A ko teer lug gaya ....jub us ko nikal neh lugay tu un ko bohut tuqleef hoti thie.... Hazrat Muhammad P.b.u.h seh pocha gaya keh is ka kaya hul hay.....Unu neh furmaya ju Hazrat Ali R.A namaz pur rahay hu us time nikala jaiy....aisa he kiya gaya or jub teer nikala gaya tu unhu mehsoos bhe na huwa....woh itni khushnudi seh namaz ada kur rahay thay Allah humay bhe aise he namazay purnay ke tofeeq ata furmay....Ameen... orr haan kehtay hain agur namaz meh kuch sochay aaiy tu us namaz ka bhe sawab zada hota hay kyun keh Insaan hay us ko dunya ke bohut c musebtay hotie hain magur us time bhe Allah ko yaad kiya jaiy tu Allah ajur deta hay...... kyun keh sooch tu insaan ko atie hay us pur pabandi nai lugaie ja sektie :s

dmx i have a question isnt it so hard to put your mind stright to allah sometimes thoughts do accidentally cross you mind i mean we are human but soemitmes it does help when you read the surahs out loud not very loud but enough for yourself if you concentrate on your words and your voice then...it seems easier.
