My broken listless dreams recall,
the screams of doors left open wide.
Where laughter dare not come at all.
for loneliness and tears reside.

Recesses of my mind explode,
with raw emotions you evoke.
Killing me softly, you reload,
within youself the truth you cloak.

World spinning round out of control.
collision course of love rejected,
Beneath the tide below the shoals,
ebb and flow, feelings reflected.

Come slumber as waves now crash,
as sand storms shift within my mind.
In empitiness I feel them smash,
love washed away, neath the brine.

Before I wake, I must release,
let shattered dreams drift on high.
Desperately search for inner peace,
finally bid this anquish goodbye.
