The zephyr drifts in with the moonlight,
where one heart beats instead of two.
Memories gloss over the twilight,
deep in thought, my mind longing for you.
I did not fathom the length of time.
nor that nights would just seem to stand still.
Once we shared love, like words that rhyme,
now only teardrops drip from the quill.
Yet love still lingers from your sweetness,
I fear my heart may ache forever.
You came, gave my life such completeness.
how do I forget, maybe never.
Search life's journey that never ends,
from kisses too tender to forget.
With waking smiles, masked pretends,
yet come what may, there is no regret.
Beyond all time my love shall trasnscend,
love's depth is far beyond compare.
Like the willow, in storms I shall bend,
