Life can be like a curtain drawn,
it hide facades of breaking dawn.
Or opens to the bright sunlight,
to shine upon my noonday plight.

Surrounding us and how we live,
shields a heart with love to give.
Opens slowly or kept closed,
or venture out with heart exposed.

To know what efforts were in vain,
could shield the mind from all pain.
Behind the curtain a safe place,
hidden feelings of love's embrace.

Let the curtain show all of me,
and face my vulnerability.
To face the sun, or be it rain,
I lift life's veil, expose the pane.

With hope and faith I face the day,
the sun shall chase the dark away.
Give me strength for me to borrow,
let me find joy, in tomorrow.
