Connection

The first spiritual connection I found was while entering the limits of Al-Haram. There was a big sign reading: "Marhaban duyufur Rahman", meaning, Welcome the guests of Most Meciful.

It overwhelmed my heart and I couldn't check my tears which cascaded my cheeks - I was the guest of Almight the Most Merciful - Allah honors his slaves as His guests, what an honor! Knowing that the King of the kings and owner of the entire universe, creator and provider of all living and non-living is my host humbled me and I never felt the urge of protrating to Almight more at that moment as ever in my life.

Experience of being the guest of Allah cannot be matched with anything in this life. I ask Allah to make us His slaves of honor on the Day of Judgment and grant us His Shade when there will be no shade on that dreadful day. Ameen
