Beyond The Rain

After the storm as the raindrops glisten,
peace is in the valley come silently listen.
Sounds of the morning renew and refresh,
as the day and night become one and mesh.

The first moment the sun peeks up its head,
morning sky turns from a soft gray to red.
Dew drops shimmer with morning's first ray,
after the rain as the night greets the day.

Sunrise brings splendor combined with mist,
vista of beauty the rain gently kissed.
Leaves caressed and quench flower's thirst,
they open in wonder and let beauty burst.

After the storm a rainbow appears,
filled with soft colors to wash away tears.
To bring a smile and to give hope for all,
always a new day after the rainfall.

Upon my cheeks feel the gentle breeze,
new day dawning with quietude and ease.
White billowy clouds drift slowly up high,
picturesque beauty in blue azure sky.
