After raving reviews at the Tribeca Flim Festival, Wateen brings ‘Ramchand Pakistani’ to the big screen in a nationwide launch. The internationally acclaimed movie is based on a true story about a Pakistani Hindu father and son who were imprisoned in India after wandering across the border from their village in Pakistan.
With the successful launch and receiving critical acclaim at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York, ‘Ramchand Pakistani’ is all set for its big screen launch across the country. The movie has jointly produced by Project One (Pvt.) Ltd., J.J. Media (Pvt.) Ltd., and Namak Films.
Dubbed as a “Must Watch” film by the Tribeca audience, the movie, is expected to be an exceptional success in Pakistan, following suit of its international acclaim. Directed by Mehreen Jabbar and produced by Javed Jabbar, the film casts Nandita Das, Rashid Farooqui, Noman Ejaz, Maria Wasti, Zhalay Zarhadi and Farooq Pario, also introducing child actors Syed Fazal Hussain and Navaid Jabbar in title roles.
