My journey began when I hopped on a train,
I did not care to ever see my home again.
At the end of the line all alone I departed,
stepped off the train feeling broken hearted.
A strange place it was for my new beginning,
wondered why the conductor was grinning.
Across the street was a small coffee shop,
and a sign that read, this is your last stop.
One look at the patrons I knew right away,
that something very evil had come my way.
This was not the journey I expected to take
to get over lost love and my heartbreak.
Ran out the door, hid in the woods till night,
awoke next morning among woodland sprites.
Told them my sad tale of heartache and woe,
and that I was now lost with no place to go.
Said that the wizard was a very smart man,
if anyone can help me, the great wizard can.
Showed me the way neath darkness of night,
then hid in the shadows to stay out of sight.
Came to a cottage and a fellow quite quaint.
asked who we were in a voice rather faint.
Told him my tale, asked, can you help me,
said, yes he could set my heartache free"
Wizard worked his magic, I thanked the sprite,
I would be home with my family that very night.
Heartache would lessen with each passing day,
even a new love would be coming my way.
