Peaks, valleys and consequences,
ups and downs of life's suspenses.
There was a time I was riding high,
top of the world touching the sky.
Everything falling right in place,
I was blessed, by God's embrace.
Death came to call, took my son,
my whole world became undone.
The peak of the mountain crumbled,
down life's slippery slope I tumbled.
Cradle to grave through high and low,
traveling where the four winds blow.
Once more find the stregnth to climb.
reach the crest with hope and time.
Sure footed, step by step going slow,
leave the dark valley far below.
