Deep within shadows hides pain of life,
strength found amid chaos and strife.
Solitary as the breeze once wandered,
new meanings from thoughts pondered.
Visions once narrow, blossom and grow,
despite the ravages of life's undertoe.
Sites sent forth as the journey begins,
time for cleansing, wash away my sins.
Faith and Hope join an overhead brace,
shield me from danger, that I may face.
Let me walk in courage, never be alone,
as I search happiness I have yet known,
from He who sits, upon heavenly throne.
